Pre-License Registration
Information

Course Tuition:  $425 (In-Class Format) or $345 (Computer Based)

• Student must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate or holder of a GED. 
• GCIC Report (Criminal Background Check) is required and must be less than 60 days old when license is picked up.
• In-Class students – Read the first two chapters of your textbook prior to start of class.
• #2 pencils, calculator and note taking materials will be required.
• Must complete the required minimum 75 hours and achieve a score of 75% on the school final exam to be eligible for the state-licensing exam.
• Any student not passing the final exam the first time will have an opportunity to retake the final exam within one year of the course start date at no additional charge.
• Any student not passing the course final exam twice may retake the 75-hour course for $220 (class format) or $276 (computer-based format).
• Make-up final exams, retake exams, and computer student exams are scheduled at the Atlanta location only.  Final exams are proctored every Wednesday at 11:00 am and the first Friday of the month at 6:00 pm.
• Student final exam scores are posted within 24 hours of taking the exam at www.metrobrokers.com/academy – Student Only page.
• Student record of course completion (passing score of 75%) is conveyed to the state testing service and student will be able to schedule a state exam date within 48 hours of passing the course final exam.
• State Fee is $97 – payable upon registration for the state exam.
• Must achieve a score of 75% on the state exam to obtain a license.
• License Fee is $170 – payable when license is picked up.
