Cherokee County School District The Cherokee County School District consists of 36 schools: 11 elementary, composed of kindergarten through 6th grade; six elementary composed of kindergarten through 5th grade; three elementary composed of kindergarten through 4th grade; one intermediate school, grades 5 and 6; four middle schools, grades 7 and 8; two middle, grades 6 through 8; four high schools, grades 9 through 12; one high school, grades 9 through 11; Ralph Bunche for Head Start, CrossRoads Alternative MS/HS, Polaris Evening School and Mountainbrook School at L.R. Tippens Educational Center.

Cobb County School District  The Cobb County School District, located in north metro Atlanta, is the second - largest school system in Georgia serving a diverse population of 106,425 students in 113 schools.  The district meets the challenge by focusing on four key areas: improving student achievement, developing leaders, being fiscally responsible and building relationships among schools, families, businesses and the wider Cobb County community.

Dekalb County School System The Dekalb County School System (DCSS) is a metropolitan Atlanta public school system located in the second largest county in Georgia.  Dekalb, is one of the most culturally diverse counties in the nation, has a student enrollment of more than 102,000 students in 143 schools and centers,and 13, 285 full-time employees.

Gwinnett County Public Schools  Gwinnett County Public Schools, located in the metro-Atlanta area, is the largest school system in Georgia and continues to grow as the system welcomed more than 7,000 new students in the 2006-2007 school year.  One of every five Gwinnett County residents is a GCPS student!  Gwinnett County citizens highly value the important role education plays in building a thriving, diverse community and strongly support the school system's pursuit of excellence.  The finest teachers in the profession, involved parents, and a supportive community are key elements in the school system's quest to become a system of world class schools.

Paulding County School District  There are 28 schools in the Paulding County School District, all of which meet the federal standards for attendance.  Of the 26 schools that comprise the Paulding County School District last year, 21 schools (81%) met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards set by the No Child Left Behind Act.  All schools (100%) met the requirements for test participation and attendance, while 21 schools (81%) met the requirements for academic performance.  Every Paulding County school has an active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) or Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), as well as Partners in Education program and School Council.
