Occasionally, I am asked about my career prior to real estate.  Most agents had a previous career life and like others, I too appreciate the question.

Born in Columbus, I grew up in northeast Ohio and have strong ties to New England too.  I attended college in Boston and after graduating with a degree in Radio/TV Communications and a minor in Advertising, I began work in both Broadcasting and the Advertising industry at the same time!  Truly a dual career!

For twenty six years I worked in various capacities of media development and eventually as Media Director with four of the world’s largest advertising agencies supervising research, negotiation, planning and buying of media campaigns and schedules for clients in consumer, retail and packaged goods industries as well as business-to-business clients across a wide range of vertical market industries.

I guess you could say that I am enjoying an “early retirement” in Real Estate.  I believe that helping people make one of their most important lifetime decisions is a serious responsibility.  I love my job and conquering the daily challenges that go with it.  I truly enjoy helping buyers and sellers alike.  My experience in evaluating and negotiating worldwide media schedules with large media conglomerates -- radio, local, regional and network TV, magazines, newspapers, outdoor, Internet, coupon circulars and other media forms has prepared me well for negotiating on behalf of my real estate clients too.

When I’m not negotiating and coordinating real estate deals, I enjoy golf, gardening/landscaping, photography, SCUBA Diving, domestic and international travel, and visiting with my Mom and Dad who live in South Carolina, my sister and her family in Cleveland, Ohio and my brother and his family in Dallas, Texas.
